Storyline

A veteran of the Second World War, together with an elderly daughter, are fleeing a winter storm in a flimsy wooden hut. Day after day, the cold gets closer and closer, plunging them into a deep sleep. They have no choice but to fall into timelessness in the middle of the frozen steppe.
